How Does It Work

• First, opt-in into MTN 5* bonus by texting 507 to 131 or dialling *507#.
• The system will then activate the bonus and notify you of your required daily usage.
• You will get a message, for example: Y¿ello! You can now enjoy the MTN 5* Bonus. Spend up to N50 on local calls and get N250 for your MTN2MTN calls. Bonus valid till 12 midnight. Enjoy!
• When you make either MTN2MTN or MTN2Others calls, the system will add up the total naira value that you spend on each call.
• At the end of each local (MTN2MTN or MTN2Others) calls, you will get an End of Call Notification message showing you how much you have spent, how much more airtime you need to spend to reach your required daily usage and amount of bonus you will receive.  For example: You have spent N80 today. Spend up to N100 on calls to local numbers to receive N500 airtime bonus for MTN2MTN calls valid till midnight. Enjoy!
• When you have reached or exceeded your required daily usage, you will receive 500% of your required daily usage. For example, if your required daily usage is NGN50.00 and you make local calls up to NGN50.00 that day, you will receive NGN250.
• At 11:59pm, your unused MTN 5* Bonus will be cleared and your total spend for the day will be re-set to NGN00.00.
• At 12:00am (00:00) on Day 2, the same thing will happen - When you make either MTN2MTN or MTN2Others calls, the system will add up the total naira value that you spend and when you have reached or exceeded your required daily usage, you will receive 500% of your threshold.
• To check your required daily usage, simply dial *507*1#.
• To check how much you have spent, and how much more airtime you need to spend to reach your required daily usage to receive the bonus, simply dial *507*2#
